The body in whole is composed of the flesh and blood. The flesh itself is composed of bones, muscles, ligaments, organs to name a few. The flesh is used to perform activities such as walking and jumping. The life of the flesh is in the blood. There are various things that are found in the blood. For an instance we have enzymes, cells, and sugars as examples of things found in the blood. What constitutes the highest percentage in the blood is water. The appearance of blood is red in color. It has been noted for oxygenated blood to be dark red in color while deoxygenated blood to be light red in color. There are various functions of the blood. Blood has been known to help in the distribution of heat in the body. Examples of categories of blood vessels are aorta, veins, capillaries, venules, and arterioles. It is possible to differentiate blood vessels in terms of their sizes and functionality. It has been noted for an instance the largest blood vessel to be the aorta while the smallest one to be the capillaries.

It is the role of the blood to distribute beneficial nutrient in the tissues of the body. Blood also helps in the removal of the waste substances from the body. Blood has been known to help in boosting the health of the body. Blood has cells that ensure that the body is healthy at all times. The role of the platelets found in the blood is to aid in the healing process of the injuries. White blood cells makes the body have immunity. The role of the red blood cells is to transport gasses into and out of the body. The body is vulnerable to dehydration. Expect our body to be dehydrated at summer seasons. Expect the body to sweat through activities such as exercises and businesses. The skin has sweat glands that excrete water and salts through evaporation when the weather is hot. It has been known for dehydration to cause problems such as a headache and bring malfunctioning to the body.

We should always stay in a cool environment when the climate is hot to avoid dehydration cases. There are a few methods we can use to make our body be hydrated especially in summer. Consuming a lot of water can make our body to be hydrated always during hot weather. It is acceptable to take eight glasses of water daily to curb dehydration cases. Our body can be hydrated by taking foods that have high water content such as fruits and vegetables. We should keep at bay drinks that can dehydrate our body such as alcohol.
